Membership & Honors

Membership

The members of NASEE are successful professionals, including technology specialists, business executives, entrepreneurs, educators, scientists, economists, etc. Most of them live in the United Sates and Canada, either USA/Canada citizens or non-citizen residents. A few members of NASEE  live in other countries in the world.

The membership of the society is categorized into three classes: Member (ordinary member), Fellow, and Honorary Member.

For Chinese professionals who live in the US or Canada to qualify the society membership, one has to live continuously in the US or Canada for at least six months. In addition, to be a member of the society, an applicant must meet ONE of the following conditions:

  • Holding a doctoral degree and having working experience over six months
  • Holding junior or senior academic/professional title/position, including (assistant/associate) professor, (senior) engineer, (senior) scientist, system analyst, CPA (certified public account), attorney, etc.
  • Holding a managerial/executive position in business companies, governments, educational or researching institutions, or other civil organizations.

  • Member Benefits

    Members of NASEE have the following benefits:
    (1) Attending NASEE local meetings, seminars, and workshops free of charge.
    (2) Attending national and international conferences,  symposia, and expositions sponsored by NASEE with discount fees or free of charge.
    (3) Having priority to publish academic papers and miscellaneous articles on newspapers, magazines, and websites owned by NASEE.
    (4) Having priority to attend delegations organized by NASEE to visit China and other countries.
    (5) Having priority to hold honorary titles/positions, recommended by NASEE,  in China.
    (6) Having priority to receive other services provided by NASEE.


    Honorary Titles

    NASEE confers Honorary Membership to prominent persons, including technology experts, business executives, entrepreneurs, scientists, educators, economists, social activists, etc., in any countries, with a preference to minority experts and entrepreneurs in the US and Canada.

    The society confers honorary titles of “Prominent Expert” and “Prominent Entrepreneur” to outstanding Chinese experts and entrepreneurs in the US and Canada with medals and cash.
